Briefly describe your business

I run a events photography business.

Briefly describe your education

I have a degree in Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies from Cardiff university. I also have 4 A Levels in Photography, Media Studies, Politics and English Literature.

 

What made you decide to work for yourself?

Being a very motivated person, the ability and want of working for myself came very naturally and was a steady progression from working as a photographer doing a small amount of events to leaving University and deciding that what I really wanted to do was start my own business up full time and do this professionally.

What was the most difficult aspect to starting/running a business?

Learning the business and admin side of the job, marketing myself and running a business.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone starting a business, what would it be?

Just do it! Make sure you are motivated, have a clear goal in what you would like to achieve and where you should be at certain stages of your business and work hard.
